December Journal
03 Meeting emphasized the 15th deadline. Established a call list to attempt to contact potential members via phone. July camp dates were set with a couple of options for a Saturday night performance.
06 Scott Stewart, Daniel Veerhusen, and Scott Pearson met at the Scouts Corps office to track down medical forms information to get possible parental contact for project announcement/recruitment. Daniel found many flags, and other interesting items that can be used for the honor guard section. While there, we organized the 75+ Corps scrap books, which many items within these books will be used for history section and photo gallery section on this site in future trips to the office.
14 Taras Nahirniaks' son, Kylo is helping out the project through data entry of percussion parts to eventually assist with percussion members learning process when written and audio parts are distributed next month to performing members!
15 The first project deadline came and went. It felt like an election night was going on during the entire evening!
19 Another MDBCA board meeting with Randy and Scott P attending for the project. Lots of enthusiasm for the project! After the board meeting a brief meeting held on the east side solidified a few areas of the show, just before Randy and Scott Stewart headed off to Wyoming (stopping in Rochester, MN to pick up Robert Pilot and Chris Jacobsen) to assist in picking up a bunch of horns for the project.
20 Jerry Hunt has recently jumped on board the project, not only to play in the brass line, but to help us contact still more guys that haven't heard about the project! Thanks Jerry and thanks to any guys that assist him in calling still more guys!

21 Randy & Scott (Scooter/Bob) made it back in great time! To celebrate a bunch of guys met at the Stadium Bar to welcome the horns to town!
23 Scott Pearson's oldest son Sean has been helping us customize and monitor the Alumnideas Forums area. We can now offer polls to the members for help in group solutions to the project. In addition to other visually friendly features.
30 Another project meeting today at Tony R's place! (Thanks Tony) In addition to committee members, we had design staff with us to begin the visual conception of the project along with solidifying music in a couple of spots! Everything is looking good with our target for music release on January 10th right on schedule!
31 Happy New Year to everyone! It's no longer next year, it's THIS YEAR!
