July 2006 Status Report

July 9, 2006-Members of the percussion section met at MATC to work on show perfections including technique. Approximately 12 snares, 4 tenors and 3 bass' showed up for the 6 hour rehearsal. The experience was another priceless moment for our soon to end, Madison experience! (Note: Not like Doug Tholo's) LOL Also, after a show design meeting with about a dozen total staff members, a few guard staff members worked in the morning on their plans in preparing for their Friday night rehearsal at LaFollette High School.

This coming weekend will be another series of cherished moments, so get ready for another weekend full of lifelong memories to be embraced!

July 14 Friday

July 15 Saturday

· 9am-1pm Full Corps Rehearsal

· 1pm-2pm Lunch

· 2pm-5pm Full Corps Rehearsal

· 5pm-8:30pm Meeting, Dinner, Showers, Dress in uniform, Transport to Sun Prairie

· 8:30pm Warm-up

· 9:54pm Perform at Sun Prairie Band Show (Field View & Exit File Here) Note: 41mb in size

Note: We’ll have directions to our parking and warm-up site for you at rehearsal. It is strongly suggested that you car pool with others to save on fuel and parking needs when arriving at our destination for the band show. It would also be great if those of you that live or have a hotel room on the east site could make your showers available to those that need them!
